Course Practice teaching → Classroom for big babies and little babies

In order to enrich students' learning content, improve students' learning interest, enhance students' understanding of this professional course and better apply theoretical knowledge to practice, Wang Jingci, teacher of Infant and Child Care Service and management, led the students of infant and Child Care Service and management in grade 2021 to take the courses of "Early Childhood Education" and "Mental Health and Counseling for Preschool Children" as the basis. On March 22 and March 29, 2023, we will go to the Xiangyang Branch Garden of Sanya No. 1 Kindergarten for practical teaching.

Wang Jingci issued teaching assignments and instructions in advance, allowing students to go to the Xiangyang Flower Branch Garden of Sanya No. 1 Kindergarten with tasks for observation and learning and one-day activities.

The students majoring in infant care service and management of Grade 2021 gathered at the gate of Hexi Xiangyanghua Kindergarten early. Afterwards, the students made all the preparations (wearing masks and shoe covers, etc.), signed in and entered the kindergarten in an orderly manner for observation and learning.

In the process of practical teaching, students can further understand the kindergarten environment by visiting the kindergarten classroom facilities, the kindergarten activity venue setting, the kindergarten park corner and other areas. We personally experience the working environment of kindergarten teachers and observe the daily work flow of kindergarten, have close contact with kindergarten children and understand the daily arrangement of kindergarten, truly feel the day of kindergarten teachers, and personally participate in kindergarten curriculum activities.

Li Li, principal of Xiangyang Flower Kindergarten, introduced the characteristics and concepts of the garden, and hoped that the learning platform built could improve everyone's professional business ability.

Wu Xiangfeng, director of Xiangyang Kindergarten, encouraged all students to cherish every opportunity to practice, observe carefully, learn diligently and ask questions, accumulate educational experience, and become an excellent and warm kindergarten teacher as soon as possible.

Happy days are always fleeting, after the end of the practice, the students are reluctant to say goodbye to the kindergarten, everyone felt benefited, all expressed the hope to combine the theoretical lessons to do more practice visits and other teaching.

It is reported that after the safe return to school, students will write children's daily arrangements for a day in Kindergarten according to the project task, with the theme of "Returning to childhood - a day of kindergarten observation and experience", and attach an article about kindergarten practice and learning.

Wang Jingci expressed the hope that through this practical teaching, students can learn by playing, feel the fun of learning in the experience, and also truly experience the working environment and professional skills needed in the kindergarten, laying the foundation for future professional learning.
